These are some images I took around the small community I live in, Ritzville Wa. Ritzville is located in central Washington state, about 60 miles west of Spokane.

Ritzville is basically a farming community, with the primary crop being wheat. It is also the county seat of Adams County, in which it is located.

The population of Ritzville is approximately 1800 people. It is the 2nd largest town in Adams County, with Othello, the largest, located approximately 50 miles southwest of us.

This is an image of the Portico in Ritzville. It is an old bed/ breakfast which is on the national historic registery.

This is a side view of the portico.

This is an image of our local Libary. It is also on the national historic registery.

This is the county Court House. All other county government office's are also located here. This building contains both the District and Superior courts.

This is the gazeebo, located in the Ritzville City Park. It is located basically in the center of town, with picnic tables for summer cook outs. It is located next to the city swimming pool. The old pool, which was removed due to leaks is currently under construction, with a brand new swimming complex expected to be ready for next years summer.

This is another view of the gazeebo.

This is a view of the Adams County Sheriffs Office. The barred windows you see on the 2nd floor are part of the jail.

It's back to work for Officer John Bartz of the Ritzville Police Department.

I hope you enjoyed these images. I will be adding new images as I take them, as well as updating my Las Vegas image links later during the week of Sep 11, 2001. Be sure to check back.
