As many of you, who are familiar with Paint Shop Pro already know, it's possible to make all kinds of interesting visual effects using the tools available in this program.

This tutorial will give you a quick and dirty down method to use the Rotating Mirror tool to take an image, in this case the head of an Americian Bald Eagle

and change it into a creation I call the American Bald Eagle Duck

Ok, this is pretty simple. First, open a new image sized 460X345 with a black background.

Now, open the egal image. With the eagle image selected, from the tool bar select Edit/Copy

Now select the blank image and from the tool bar select Edit/Paste/As New Layer

Use the mover tool to move the eagle down to the lower right corner of the image

Now from the tool bar select Effects/Reflection Effects/Rotating Mirror

Use these settings:

Horizontal Offer -5

Rotation Angle 0

The end result

OK, now that you know what the Rotating Mirror tool can do, play around and create your own amazing special effects.
